Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
"You must do the thing you think you cannot do."

Grave Yard Visit

We visited the grave yard as a part of our "listening to the past" try-it.
The girls looked for the oldest headstone in the cemetery, unusual names and did rubbing's of the headstones. During snack time I read them a Pecos Bill ghost story. It was a beautiful day.

Pumpkins & Spiders - Oh My!

We decorated pumpkins and made spiders for our Fall Craft.

The girls enjoyed this Halloween Celebration!
Rather than paint, we used stickers, ribbon and leaves to decorate the pumpkins.
The spiders with their webs turned out quite creepy!

Many of us have been a part of troop #480 from the start. Boy how they have grown!

Offical "Mascot" Luke the Duke

Luke has been a part of our troop for 4 years now (and he's only 6)! He's participated in all of the activities that he could and has always been a good little helper. Next year he'll get to be a Boy Scout, but he surely knows the scouting ropes by now.
Thanks Luke!
